QuickBooks Pro 2010

If you're running a small to medium size business there is not a whole lot of choice out there for accounting software. Its nearest competitor, Peachtree, is designed a bit more for the style that accounting professionals prefer, but is not as well refined. So let's take a closer look at this version..

My favorite new features in QuickBooks 2010:

- The ability to paste customer/vendor/item data from Excel spreadsheets
- The new favorites menu so that you can quickly access deep menu items with fewer clicks
- The ability to search for reports in the Report Center, easily find the report you want
- Improved online banking integration

Should you upgrade from QB 2009 to 2010? Personally I'd decide based on whether those four new features are important to you.

The downside is that a lot of the nice add-ons cost extra to activate, as others have pointed out.Get more detail about QuickBooks Pro 2010.
