I've used QuickBooks for over 8 years and this latest version is really packed with a lot of upgrades - some still need work, such as the Check Solution where you can deposit payments using a scanner however only one or two specific scanners work with the program. As a bookkeeper, accountant and QuickBooks Advanced Certified Pro Advisor I have found the fun in some of the additions like the Document Manager that allows attaching a PDF document to a transaction. The Auto Sign checks with a signature image, though little or no security applies so be sure to notify your bank. My clients really like the write off feature in the Client data review center which is only in the Accountant's Premier Version. It does make it much easier to write off bad debts very efficiently. Another feature that offers more flexibility is the Intuit Statement Writer that allows for customizing of reports and updates with changes made.
I tend to move much slower with new equipment and most software updates giving some space and time for some of the "bugs" to get worked out on new releases, etc. This does keep the frustration level down and I gather enough knowledge to know what to look for and what to avoid, so I don't have to use my time on Tech Support calls if at all possible.Get more detail about QuickBooks Pro 2010.
