I have been using Quickbooks and Quicken since the Dos days. I own a pc tech business and am owner and the only employee, so I don't want to spend a lot of time doing book work. I also recommend Quickbooks to my customers and help them set it up to use in their businesses.
I beta tested QB2010 I like the look and feel of the 2010 version compared with the 2007 version. Easy to navigate, Easy to find what I need to do in my day to day business. I really like the carousel view of the reports. It lets you view what the report will look like before creating it.
I would like to have the company profile back on the home page so I can change preferences from there.
If you unclick the 'icon' box (when installing) it will just put a Quickbooks icon on the desktop and not the other 'selling' icons.
Things I would like to see in the future is to be able to sort register columns. You can also do a P&L statement on multiple customers. I really like this feature because it lets you know which customers in a certain region or area are your profit makers.
It was very easy to restore my 2007 product into the 2010 product. Get more detail about QuickBooks Pro 2010.
